Missing teeth can be replaced problem-free by artificial teeth roots made of titanium or zircon oxide (ceramic). Anything is possible, from replacing one tooth to the edentulous patient wishing to have firm teeth.
In our surgery, we use various, state-of-the art and well established implant systems. These are made of titanium or zircon (metal-free ceramic), materials that have proven for years and are applied in medicine. You will get comprehensive implant treatment, which will be planned and carried out using the most modern procedures with a highly aesthetic result.
In case of insufficient or missing bones, these will be reconstructed in a well-tolerated way (see Piezo surgery, oral surgery). Dr. Wainwright has many years of experience as a certified implantologist; he is an opinion leader and an internationally recognised expert who has been teaching in this field for years.
Nobel Guide: a procedure developed by the company Nobel Biocare. With the help of a surgical template, which is made by using the CT data, the implants are inserted virtually into the computer at first and then 1:1 in the patient. In many cases cutting is not required. In special cases it is even possible to supply these implants immediately with temporary dental prostheses.
Temporary implants: To make the waiting time for edentulous patients or patients with large gaps as comfortable as possible, temporary implants can be inserted using a temporary solution. After the healing time of the final implants, these can then be removed problem free.
Metal-free implants: On request we can also offer you implantation of metal-free implants made of zircon oxide. These implants are one-phase implants, i.e. the screw and the construction are one. To avoid too much stress on these implants during the healing period, a brace or a temporary support is required for about 4-6 months.
Titanium implants: The most frequently used implant systems are made of pure titanium (grade 4) and have been used all over the world for decades. Owing to special screw designs and surfaces, the healing times for these implants have become shorter and shorter over the last few years. These implants are still state-of-the-art in oral implantology.
Implant brands: In our surgery we use implants from the following companies: Biomet 3i, Nobel Biocare, Curasan, Z-Systems, Trinon and Steri-Oss.
