Well-tolerated bone reconstruction – no pain, no swelling. The Intralift™
In cooperation with Dr. Trödhan from Vienna and Dr. Kurek from Ratingen, Dr. Wainwright has developed a surgical procedure to increase the bone substance in the maxilla. The bone in the upper jaw can be carefully reconstructed using the Intralift™ procedure. Instead of a large incision, only the mucous membrane is punctured and the bone below the maxillary sinus mucous is filled with artificial bone material via an extremely small tunnel. After successful reconstruction, the stamped mucous membrane is sewn up micro-surgically and the wound is only a few millimetres long.
